Karan Johar's next SRK-starrer is titled Khan. And Kajol has, at last, signed on the dotted line.
There are never any prizes for guessing who will star in Karan Johar's next. Of course it's Shah Rukh Khan. But this time, KJo has surprised us with the title of his film. It advertises his lead star and is called 'Khan'.
And yes, Kajol has finally agreed to do the film. She took a long time to think about getting back on screen with Shah Rukh Khan. The issue was her daughter and t i m e m a n - agreement for Kajol, the mother.
She didn't want to be away for long days from her daughter. But we have it from reliable sources that KJo managed to persuade Kajol to accept his offer by going all emotional and tearyeyed , a la the characters of his films. Reportedly he told her that if she didn't do the film, he would scrap the idea of making it altogether. Well, Kads couldn't say 'no' after that, and the contract was brought out before she could change her mind.
So now she's officially on board with her Kuch Kuch Hota Hai co-star. Khan is based in New York (where else?) and deals with social issues including safety issues and terrorism . Karan is known to have made the rounds of several NGOs in the US while researching his film. |
