Heard that terrible news on the radio this morning (17/11/06)
Two kids died in a fire. In their own home...they used candles, since they dont have electricity...
Really sad to hear news like that.... |

You described "actualiltes as all "current issues". You didnt mention only political issues...
For me, this tragedy is an issue. At the time i heard about this on the radio, the cause of the fire were CANDLES...they didnt have electricity...this touched me as it shows that these people must be very poor...I'm not saying the Government should go and provide electricity free for all those who are without electricity...However, POVERTY remains an issue...it is always going to be here...but that doesnt mean we should forget about it. You may say that just talking will not help the poor much, but talking about it is a start!
This tragedy was on the news this morning as well...now they are saying that it could have been murder. |

| A little update on that story...A woman tried to put out the fire with PETROL....damn!!! how can people be so stupid??!! Petrol has a strong smell...how could she have mistaken about that...pffttt |
