While browsing on our fellow Mauritian websites, came across a forum with someone posting an article. Here is an extract:
"This whole issue of whether or not Mauritius is an appropriate place for one to have a future in is totally subjective and depends on circumstances. One cannot just criticise the Mauritian working ethics & mentality. It is a very general comment based on very little and concentrated experiences. Every country has it’s own ethics & mentality. Where to work depends mostly on personal preference. I personally don’t really like the British ‘fakeness’, carelessness & slack attitude at work. Plus, whether one agrees or not, a lot of British people are rather slow at understanding things, which can be very frustrating. But that is in relation to the media industry, which I work in. "
